The Derrick Golf and Winter Club is so much more than just a world-class golf course and premiere athletics facility. The Derrick's friendly community of families make our club a special place for all our members.

Social Events & Parties

There's never a shortage of good times to be had and great memories to be made at The Derrick Club.

You'll find a variety of events to take part in throughout the year. Some of our members' favourite events include wine tastings, golf events, a playroom rodeo, and the Christmas brunch with Santa Claus.

The social calendar is the heart of our club that brings our community closer together. 
 

Playroom & Preschool

The Playroom staff is pleased to offer childminding care for your children ages 8 weeks to 6 years. Our bright and spacious room offers a variety of toys, books, crafts, and activities. Your child can enjoy a maximum stay of 3 hours per day while a parent or guardian is on site using the facility.

The Derrick Childcare department is thrilled to be offering our newly licensed preschool programs. Our purpose is to provide the highest quality of early learning and care for your child and your family. The programs implement many facets from the Flight Framework where children are viewed as "a mighty learner”, citizen-strong, resourceful, and capable. Specifically we focus on a Learning Through Play Philosophy.

Activity Camps

The Derrick Club keeps kids busy with a huge variety of seasonal camps available to the club's youngest members at typical school calendar breaks.

For kids that are curious about bugs or Lego, swimming or tennis, and all sorts of fun and fit activities in-between, we have a camp for everyone aged 3 – 13.
